Frame of this Astrox series racket is made of HM graphite and tungsten while its shaft is made of HM Graphite and Nanomesh Neo. Addling tungsten to HM graphite enhance the strength of frame while adding Nanomesh to shaft helps in better shaft reflex and power transfer to shuttle.
Further to increase the mechanical property of Yonex Astrox 7, Box + aero frame cross sections are used. Box type cross section is better is strength due to better torsion rigidity while Aero type cross offers better aerodynamics to frame.
