Yonex Astrox 88D Tour Badminton Racket

Yonex Astrox 88D tour is all new rackets loaded with technically advanced features, material science and overall improved racket performance. 

This Astrox series racket is developed with a rotation generation system. With a rotation generation system, weight distribution of the racket is optimised from frame top to bottom.With a rotational generation system, players will get effective racket balance, better hitting power and easy racket handling for quick and sharp counter attack.

Energy Boost Cap plus concept is used at the shaft connect area to handle. This specially designed cap has two unique shapes. Front side of the cap has a groove which allows the shaft to move freely hence it offers better flex while the other side has a covered shape which helps in avoiding the twisting movement. The combination of both gives better power and perfect control on shots.

The shaft of the Yonex Astrox 88D tour is stiff while it is a head heavy racket with rotational generation system in place. Combination of head heavy and rotation generation system helps in better racket balance for making powerful smashes while fast racket handling is achieved with the help of the latest  technology.

Weight of the racket is around 85 to 89 gms while recommend string tension would be around 27 to 28 lbs (Different string have its own string tension criteria, player needs to carefully select the string tension)
