ASTROX 88S TOUR BADMITON RACKET

Yonex Astrox 88S tour is newly added model in Astrox series with tour configuration. To enhance the performance of racket, Yonex used latest material science technology known as Yonex volume cut resin.



With normal metallurgy science, if we need to increase the strength of the racket then we need to increase the cross section hence weight of the racket will be increased. With Volume cut resin, strength of racket is increased significantly without increasing the weight of racket. It offers great weight to strength ratio.

Astrox 88S tour is developed for doubles badminton players. Doubles badminton player required faster game which comprise of quick return and fast racket swing speed. This particular model of Astrox series is specifically developed for player who wants to show skills on net area. At net area, more control is needed on shuttle to accurately place the shuttlecock on opponent area.

This Yonex Astrox model is built with Namd technology. Namd is state of the art graphite material technology in which nonmaterial is bind with graphite fiber and resin. This technique of binding of graphite particle with nonmaterial and resin provides better shaft reflexes and optimized energy management by storing it.



Frame strength is very important in badminton game. More strength of frame means better power while on other hand, Speed is also equally important. To obtain more strength in frame, Yonex used Box type frame cross section, while to get better swing speed, Yonex adopted the aerodynamically improved frame cross section.



Astrox 88S tour is head heavy racket with medium flex while its shaft 5 mm longer as compare to normal Yonex rackets.
